NOW HIRING – Full-Time Customer Service Representative for Newman Grove

The Customer Service Representative provides prompt, efficient and accurate customer service; represents the Bank in a courteous, professional manner; completes all transactions efficiently and accurately, while securing customer privacy and confidentiality; and is alert to customer needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Process customer transactions: receive deposits, verify cash and endorsements and issue receipts, make withdrawals, cash checks, sell money orders, provide customer account printouts, scan work for remote capture, and receive installment loan payments.
  • Open customer accounts and cross-sell the Bank’s services and products.
  • Provide customer access to safe deposit boxes.
  • Carry out facility opening and closing procedures.
  • Balance transactions at end of day and verify cash totals.
  • Complete daily reports, logs and necessary documentation.
  • Operate drive-up teller window, including rotating Saturday staffing.
  • Answer telephone, transfer calls, and take messages.
  • Greet customers and refer them to the appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills to represent the Bank in a positive way in dealing with customers and other employees.
  • Cash management experience and accuracy highly preferred.
  • Customer service and retail sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to use core processing and data systems.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment such as a computer, typewriter and 10-key calculator/adding machine.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift 15 to 20 pounds.
  • Successful completion of teller training and any other compliance training deemed necessary by the Bank.
